When I first came to Indiana University as a freshman, I had no idea that campus ministry even existed. My freshman class had more people than my little hometown! I wasn't intimidated by the size, but I was aware my next four years would be very different compared to my first 18. I knew I wanted to get involved with something that would encourage me to grow in my relationship with Jesus and have solid friendships to support me during my college experience.
God answered my prayers when I stepped foot into the old 707 Campus House after seeing a sidewalk chalk advertisement. I knew as soon as I entered the door, this was where the Lord was leading me. God used the friends, mentorship, weekly teaching and the wonderful community I found at Christian Student Fellowship to change the course of my life.
I could have never imagined I would still be serving in campus ministry at CSF 19 years after graduating, but am thankful to have the longevity in this ministry and the privilege to have witnessed countless lives changed over the years. We are inviting you to partner with us in our campaign to raise $250,000 to position the ministry to continue to be in a place where college students can freely meet, know the genuine care of Christian community and be challenged to deepen their faith.
Would you consider making a special year-end gift to further the legacy of Christian Student Fellowship?
You may not be as excited as we are about renovations and paying off debt, but please see it as we see it: an investment for college students to pursue faith in Jesus, and have a safe place to live and gather in community. I have personally seen how the CSF house has made a difference in many students’ college experience.
Thank you for your support of CSF, and for considering this special opportunity.
In Christ,
-Stephanie Michael
